AFAIK, XM receiver has 2 different versions of firmware and Frsky seems have stopped supporting the older one. And
Q7 only works with latest one.
If your XM can not pair with Q7, it may because it comes with the older version of firmware. You can try to flash the latest version of firmware, see if that works.
