QMC5883 supported firmware

Hello,
Last week I purchased a new mindracer and the staff gave me this information: Please be kindly noted that due to EOL(end-of-lifetime) of HMC5883, all new shippment of MindRacer has changed onboard magnetometer from HMC5883 to QMC5883. You may need to check software driver compatibility according to what flight stack you are using.

And after I calibrated all the sensors (including compass), I cannot arm the drone. It says "Preflight Fail: Compass Sensor #9 missing". So I am guessing this is the reason. Is there a way to change the firmware so that the new mindracer can be use? Thanks

QMC5883 has been supported in px4 release 1.11.0. So you are suggested to upgrade to 1.11.0 to use this compass.
pmw3901 is also supported by default in 1.11.0.

If you changed other source code of your previous version px4, you may need to manually merge that changes into 1.11.0 and re-test again.

rolandash Thank you. Yes, I am using 1.10.1 since you taught me to save the px4 parameters into SD card. I will update to 1.11.0. Thanks
