is MRPDB mandatory?

I just received my MindRacer, it looks great. As its first time use it, i am not sure how should i connect the battery to it.

I see MRPDB at AirMind store, is that a mandatory to power MindRacer?

It is not mandatory, it is an optional stack solution.

You can use other normal power distribution boards with MindRacer, through the 6-pin power socket onboard, as long as the output spec is compatible.
